I’ve used several of these apps and currently have e*trade still installed. However I find that I spend more time on an iphone app called Talk Penny Stock. It doesn’t let you actually invest but it has a great chat room that lets you talk to other investors and bounce around ideas. I find I learn a lot about different stocks in chat rooms and like having it available to me on the go.

I use a lot of the apps in this list, but the secret ingredient in my investment process is the Insider Trades app on the iPhone store.

It tells me what the directors of my stocks have been doing, a great indicator for investment.

I believe that my fully integrated stock and stock options calculator application is very valuable to the novice and professional investor. The app called “total stock” calculates any variation of shares and stock options on a stock allowing the user to simulate a variety of trading strategies. The app is useful for anyone who wants to invest with options but is not sure how to calculate their intrinsic value based upon the price of the stock hitting different values. This application calculates the total profit or loss based on a combination of 64 different variations of buying and selling shares and options on a stock. Jonas, My investing app, Portfolio Armor, does something different from the ones mentioned above: it helps investors hedge their stocks and ETFs by showing them the optimal put options to give them the precise level of protection they want at the lowest cost. I'd be grateful if you considered reviewing it next time you write an article on investing apps.
