That said, it is often possible that even though an OTC stock hits the price level to trigger your limit order, there just isn't enough volume to complete a trade. If you placed an order online, calling your broker to execute won't change the effectiveness of your order, though an experienced broker might be able to give you some guidance about whether a trade will execute at a certain level. Remember, though ordering through a broker often involves much higher commissions...
