There are many commercials on CNBC with shysters screaming "BUY and HOLD just does not work" ... I will refute that sentiment right now because i have heard it before. Sept. 11 -2001 ...a few days later when the U.S. market opened it was dumped! I lost $14,000 in a day.. I yawned and held. ...what happened? many months later it came back with a vengeance. My point being that when you own strong companies with good balance sheets you will always be in the black in a market recovery. I have one last thing to add to my ranting & raving this week! ...(ARCI) I have nothing more to say except Appliance recycling corp. inc. is UP 0.18% 1-22-2010 on a day when the dow dropped 219 points and the Nasdaq lost over 60! ...ARCI is still a buy at $3.50 at closing bell in my book. ...My sell exit is $22.00 .
